Whispers Beneath Willowmere

When construction at Harker’s Pond exposes a stone altar and a living woman buried in the mud, Sophie touches the altar and gets twelve voices screaming at once. The woman has no name, no memory, and eyes that change color near water. She has been imprisoned beneath the pond since 1892—the same year someone built a machine to keep Willowmere prosperous, powered by periodic drownings.
